Montrose-on-Sea Is a newly renovated self catering lodge which is situated at the bottom of Glencairn mountainside with uninterrupted sea views of False Bay, stretching from Muizenberg around to Hangklip and on to the historical naval village of Simon’s Town. Watch the whales playing and breaching (seasonal July – October) from your bedroom and lounge windows. Glencairn beach is 1 min walk away and there are also two tidal pools for the young ones to safely splash in across the road. We are 10 mins drive away from the famous Boulders penguin colony and a further 20 mins to Cape Point Nature Reserve. The city of Cape Town is 40 mins from Glencairn, the winelands 45 mins and Cape Town International Airport 40 mins.

Montrose Cottages Are self catering units which are situated on Chapman’s Peak Drive. This drive is world renowned for its beautiful scenery, majestic mountains and colourful sea views. Fish Hoek, Noordhoek and Kommetjie beaches are 5 minutes drive, Hout Bay 20 minutes, Cape Town 30 minutes and Cape Point Nature Reserve is 20 minutes. Conveniently situated across the road, is the Long Beach Shopping Centre which will fulfil all your shopping needs.
